We had an amazing weekend, this past weekend.  It is what we have come to take for granted as "our life" now, but it wasn't always this abundant, and the journey here wasn't always clear either, so this richness wasn't dangled before us as incentive to keep going when the times got rough, if you know what I mean ~ it is the steadfast step after step, that brought us here.  Let me tell you about it...

This weekend we hosted a Cacao Journey in our home.  Once every month 30+ people join us for an evening that has become downright amazing.  It was almost always that way, right from the beginning, but the richness of these Cacao Journeys has deepened into a texture of experience that we all find it difficult to place words upon, but one person declared the collective experience of the technology, the cacao, the meditation and the field we all created, brought all of her vast experiences seeking conclusions that reassure the soul, to a satisfying integration that she'll be assimilating for a while.  This depth of experience is almost Universal for all who make it to the Cacao Journey.  How Divinely blessed are we, to be able to facilitate and SHARE like this? 

On Sunday we attended a Family Constellation one-day work shop at Bridge & Enrich - where we do our Tuesday evening Meditation and QT Circles - and watched and participated in the wonder of Family Constellation and how it heals families generations back - not to mention forward! - and we SEE the wounds of our ancestors healing ~ literally ~ THROUGH us.  It is so humbling and so profound. And also unexplainable.

From Bridge & Enrich we went onto a gathering called by a young friend; a dear, sweet, genuine Indigenous woman who left her home in Kitimat to find a solution for her people's pain.  She is educating anyone who cares to learn, about how her people live and what made them who they ARE, before it was taken away.  She was gifting "guests of honor" who had helped her through her brother's near-death experience at Christmas. The workshop was called "It Takes a Village" and was her way of showing us what her people do when their hearts are filled with gratitude for support from friends and relations - and the kin-ection she felt through that support from all of us in her time of need at Christmas.  I've never seen people so honored. Ever. Each gift was a personal treasure from her altar, plus a teeny bag of earth - to stay kin-ected.

And what the culmination of one single weekend, in a life we have created that is this way every day, showed to me is that we have ARRIVED.  We are living our lives on purpose.  The purpose that we have determined is of the highest value to us - to live from the heart.  To heal the wounds of the past.  To forgive ~ and to CHANGE ~ with ease and grace.  To surround ourselves with people of all ages and all origins who are devoted to love and connection and community.

Our lives are now a medley of amazing, synchronistic events that weave opportunities to deepen our understanding of our Selves and where we contract from loving life.  To coax us from our fear, into our hearts.  To bring trust back to loving. To be willing to say "I don't know - show me how to love you."  To be able to SEE how others love me and be grateful to be loved, rather than want them to love me MY way. To be open to my own humanity, to be happy instead of "right" and to  e x p a n d  beyond the limitations I have set upon what is possible.  Oh yes, we had an amazing weekend, this past weekend.  And we truly wish the very same for you!
