There has never been a more exciting time in Schauer Group's 100-year history. Service to our community is one of Schauer Group’s core values and we’re committed to strengthening the communities where we live and work.
Now, as part of our 100 year celebration, we’re making strategic investments in our community, including our
$150,000 capital gift to Aultman's Timken Family Cancer Center,
which will provide access to superior health care for Stark and surrounding counties. In addition, we recently completed our first
Century of Service Nonprofit Award program,
and awarded Shoes and Clothes for Kids with 100 hours of service from Schauer associates and a donation of $5,000. You can read more about both of these initiatives below.
The entire Schauer team recently celebrated our milestone year at the
Pro Football Hall of Fame,
where we enjoyed lunch, a VIP tour of the new developments and heard inspiring words from
David Baker,
the Hall's president and CEO.
As we celebrate our anniversary, we’d like to take a moment to thank you for your partnership over the years. Moving forward, we will communicate company news, important industry updates and strategic trends, and other happenings with you on a quarterly basis in this email digest.
Please read on for the latest from the Schauer Group, and I welcome your feedback now and always.
Sincerely,
David T. Schauer

Shoes and Clothes for Kids wins Schauer Group Century of Service Nonprofit Award program
|
In celebration of 100 years of supporting the community, Schauer Group hosted the
“Century of Service” donation program this summer.
The program gave local nonprofits the opportunity to apply, and if selected as a finalist, compete for an awards package that includes a
donation of 100 service hours from Schauer Group associates and a one-time cash donation of $5,000.
Six incredible finalists competed and after the community voting came to a close,
Shoes and Clothes for Kids, a Cleveland-area nonprofit dedicated to improving school attendance by eliminating lack of appropriate clothing, shoes and school supplies as barriers, won the Century of Service Nonprofit Award.

Cyber Incidents can be disastrous for your operations, but they can have long-term legal implications as well. Once discovered, cutting off the hacker’s access to your system is a vital early step, but your first call should be to your Cyber Insurance Carrier and Breach Legal Counsel who can guide you down the tricky legal path to recovery.
