Awards & Recognition
Congratulations!  to CPH-NEW Affiliated research scientist Cora Roelofs, ScD on her recent award grant from Alpha Foundation to research the potential to reduce opioid-related hazards and injuries in the Massachusetts sand, stone, and gravel mining sector.

The project worth $413,212 is slated for September 2019- August 2022, during which time Dr. Roelof will develop and test a training intervention with over 700 miners and provide opioid-related health and safety guidance to their employers.
