IdleLock with AutoSense now available for Ford Interceptor Utility

The popular theft prevention system for idling vehicles, IdleLock with AutoSense, has added the Ford PIU chassis to its list of available applications.

IdleLock with AutoSense is activated automatically when the driver exits the vehicle with a fob. The transmission is locked in Park while the engine idles, allowing all lights, equipment and air conditioning to function normally.

InterMotive builds its 500,000 product
Last month, InterMotive Vehicle Controls announced that it has built and sold its 500,000th product. The product was sold to a long-time valued customer.
InterMotive turns 25!
Join us in wishing InterMotive a happy 25th anniversary this month! Let's take a trip down memory lane to see how it all began...

InterMotive, Inc., was founded in 1996 by Greg and Linda Schafer. The company initially started out by performing accident inspections and expert witness cases for OEMs.

InterMotive soon began exploring product design. Some of the first products included the Overdrive Inverter for work trucks, hood louvers for law enforcement vehicles and Taxi-Lock. One of InterMotive's first big customers was PG&E.

In 2010, InterMotive established its official headquarters in Auburn, California. A Midwest facility was opened in 2012, located in Elkhart, Indiana.

In 2014, Linda and Greg founded LGS Group, Inc., to become the master distributor for InterMotive, with its current headquarters located in Reno, Nevada.

With 25 years of significant and continued growth in products, sales, offices and personnel, InterMotive has become a leading manufacturer and designer of quality electronic vehicle control systems.
