Quarterly Newsletter April to June 2024

Message from our CEO

Dear Friends,

The warm summer months are upon us, bringing with them opportunities for family vacations, a slower pace, and the chance to refresh and unwind from the hectic schedules that often accompany the spring holidays, the end of the school year, and in the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast the end of the social season. As days lengthen and temperatures rise, seeking cooler spaces and a slower pace becomes a priority for many. At Catholic Charities, as summer approaches, we find ourselves working to close out one program year and begin the next. We do this with both a renewed sense of gratitude and appreciation for those who have contributed to the work we do, and a sense of compassion and reaffirmed commitment to those we serve.

Throughout this newsletter you’ll find upcoming events, program activities and ways you can join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families facing challenges. You’ll find important information from our Respect Life Ministry and the Florida Catholic Conference of Bishops regarding the extreme abortion amendment that will appear on the November ballot. You’ll find information regarding events, programs and services that may prove to be a resource or support for someone you care about.  Thank you for taking the time to read this issue, and for helping to share the information with others.

Thank you, again, for your unwavering support, dedication and commitment to the work we do. Together we continue to make a difference!

I wish each of you a health, happy and safe summer.

Ellen T. Wayne, Ed.D.
