Our volunteers contribute a host of skills and abilities, and whether they are serving on committees behind the scenes or working directly with our clients, they are always willing to go the extra mile further our mission.
We are thankful for our clients. They trust our agency with their stories, and with each interaction we are left in awe of the humility, the determination, and the perseverance they demonstrate through each challenge they face. It truly is our honor and privilege to work with them and to recognize the successes they achieve as they overcome the challenges that have come their way.
These are challenging times. Tensions are high in our communities and across the world, causing fear and uncertainty, and creating feelings of hopelessness. It is my hope that as we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, we do so with a spirit of gratefulness. Let’s recognize opportunities to focus on our blessings and appreciate all that we have to be thankful for. And then, let’s in turn strive to be a blessing for others through kind words and deeds.
