DOVES' Car Show Success
The annual Cool Run in the Mountains Car Show was a great success. A lot of community members and visitors to Big Bear came out to support and have fun.

We were able to raise over $2,200 to benefit survivors of domestic violence. DOVES is very thankful to everyone who attended and who helped to put on the event.

Lorrie's House Updates
Our summer months saw a number of new faces at our shelter.  This included both staff and clients. Two of our clients have successfully moved out of the house and are supporting themselves.  One of our new hires is an on call child care worker.  It is wonderful to have this position.
