Thanks to a very generous grant from the J. William Warehime Foundation, big changes are coming to the front of The Arc of York County's Hill Street offices!

Since moving to its Hill Street location in York in 2001, The Arc of York County has always wanted to have an entrance that would be welcoming to all those we serve. In order to make that happen this spring, The Arc is adding a ramp, a push button front door, and is reconfiguring its front reception area to better accommodate those with physical limitations.

"It goes without saying that everyone who visits The Arc of York County should be able to enter through our front door," said The Arc Executive Director, Josh Leik. "We are thrilled to be completing this project and are very appreciative of the financial support that the Warehime Foundation has provided this year."

Stay tuned for pictures of the final product as construction should begin sometime in late March or April.
