We are also excited to announce we have received three additional years of funding from Cockrell School of Engineering! Thank you to Cockrell School of Engineering for their generous support.

Congratulations to the winners of the

UT CARE Faculty Members Collaboration for Fall 2023!


Drs. Lisa Griffin, Ph.D. (UT-Austin, Kinesiology and Health Education) and

Lee Reichel, M.D. Department of (Dell Medical School, Surgery and Perioperative Care) new collaborative project, supported in part by CARE funds, will investigate possible contributing factors to non-specific subacromial shoulder pain in younger and older adults. 


The UT CARE Initiative, along with AR3T, announces an opportunity for research experience!


The UT CARE Initiative, along with AR3T 2.0, would like to announce a unique training fellowship opportunity for undergraduate, graduate and medical students.


Students: 

• Do you have a research question related to recovery after trauma (spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, or other diseases)?

• Do want to gain experience in animal models, investigating a disease-based question?

• Are you interested in designing and implementing rodent-based “rehab” strategies aimed at restoring function?

We want to support you!!
