 Fernando J Menendez, Jr.  will be moderating an afternoon panel discussion titled "How Much Can You Trust the Litigation Trust?"   – A Closer Look at the PDVSA U.S. Litigation Trust as an Example of Potential Uses and Misuses of Litigation Trusts.
The conference is the premiere conference in international law and is attended by legal practitioners from the United States, Canada, Europe, and Latin America.

On January 9th, 2020, Sequor Law founding shareholder Gregory S. Grossman spoke at the FICPA/Valuation, Forensic Accounting & Litigation Services Conference in Fort Lauderdale, FL on "The Use of Forensic Accounting in International/Cross-Border Fraud Cases."
Congratulations to Drew Dawson , of counsel at Sequor Law, who co-chaired the 2nd annual International Comparative Insolvency Symposium, presented by The University of Miami on Nov. 14 and 15. Drew was the head moderator for the event and led a discussion on the use of arbitration in international insolvency cases. Sequor attorney Nyana Abreu Miller also moderated a panel of Brazilian law professors and doctoral students on aspects of Brazilian bankruptcy law.
In November, Sequor Law hosted a beachside dinner at Nikki Beach to welcome more than 200 friends visiting Miami for the AIJA - International Association of Young Lawyers Half Year Conference.
Sequor Law shareholder Arnie Lacayo co-chaired the organizing committee for the AIJA Half Year Conference. Sequor attorney Cristina Vicens was a member of the organizing committee, and spoke at the AIJA Half Year Conference held at the East Hotel in Miami.
Founding shareholder Ed Davis, Jr . moderated a panel discussion on understanding the psychology of fraud victims and how they’re perceived in the legal system at the 2019 C5 Conference in Miami.
Ed Davis, Jr . opened ICC FraudNet's 30th International Conference in Beirut, Lebanon alongside Mr. Wajih Bizir, Dr. Joseph Torbey, and Mr. Riad Salamé.
In September, Leyza Blanco participated in a panel at Knect 365’s Asset Recovery America Conference, held in New York, NY, on insolvency as a tool in asset recovery.
Sequor founding shareholder Ed Davis , Jr and attorney Nyana Abreu Miller attended The Inaugural OffshoreAlert Conference Latin America, hosted in September in São Paulo, Brazil. Each spoke on panels covering topics related to international value recovery and emerging issues in Latin America.
