Leyza Blanco , a partner at Sequor Law, has been honored by the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation's (IWIRC) Florida Network as a 2018 Excellence Award Winner.

In addition to being elected to IWIRC’s International Board of Directors as Secretary earlier this year, Leyza was recently inducted to the IWIRC Hall of Fame for her exemplary leadership, service, and commitment to IWIRC Florida, its members, and its mission. Congratulations, Leyza!
In addition to Sequor Law being named as a top five litigation firm and top 50 firm overall, Latinvex has also recognized both Arnie Lacayo and Nyana Abreu Miller as Rising Stars.

The seminar featured Sequor Law’s investigative capabilities using Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code, and recoveries of art work in cross-border insolvency cases.”

ED DAVIS SPEAKS AT LONDON OFFSHORE ALERT CONFERENCE
Shareholder Ed Davis co-chaired a panel entitled “A Full and Frank Discussion of Emerging Key Issues & Developments” hosted at the 2018 Offshore Alert Conference earlier this month in London.

SEQUOR LAW HOSTS IWIRC BRAZIL INAUGURAL EVENT
Leyza Blanco and Nyna Abreu Miller of Sequor Law welcomed a delegation of Brazilian judges, prosecutors, lawyers, and trustees to Miami for IWIRC’s View from the Bench: Developments in US and Brazilian Bankruptcy Law .

The event introduced the Brazilian delegation to South Florida jurists including Judge Mindy A. Mora, Judge Robert A. Mark, and Judge John K. Olson of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in and for the Southern District of Florida. The delegation also visited the Courtroom of Chief Judge Laurel M. Isicoff.
