Employee Benefits Open Enrollment: Each Fall, many employers have an open enrollment window for employees to review their current benefit plans and make changes to their plans from the benefit options available to them with the employer.

• Reach out to your human resources office with any questions.

Medicare Open Enrollment Period: Open enrollment runs from October 15 to December 7. This window is the only time of year (outside of special circumstances) when retirees can make important changes to their Medicare coverage. For optimizing your Medicare health plan, it’s a crucial time to review if you need to make changes.

• Check that your current plan still meets your needs, especially for prescriptions, and compare costs across options since premiums and co-pays can change yearly. If you’re considering Medicare Advantage, review networks and benefits carefully.
