National Seasonal Affective Disorder Awareness Month

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a mood disorder that happens every year at the same time. SAD may impact 11 million people in the U.S. each year. Some symptoms of the disorder are feeling sad, cranky, or hopeless, less energy trouble concentrating, fatigue and more. Treatment options for SAD differ. Consult with your doctor if you have these symptoms the same time each year and follow their recommendations.
