Okra Abbey Celebrates Solar Energy
Last year, our own community ministry partner Okra Abbey became a recipient of the Presbyterian Women's annual Thank Offering which is collected around the world. These donations went to fund their "Community Solar Power for Resilience" project. The full solar power system will provide outlets for power tools, an irrigation system and cell phone charging stations for low-income and often transitory individuals. The system will also keep the community refrigerator running and provide reliable electricity during power outages, especially during weather disasters. A ceremonial blessing and "lights on" celebration will be held on Saturday, April 6. For details, download their event flyer.

New! CALLED AS PARTNERS IN CHRIST'S SERVICE
