End-of-School Food Drive
This month we are partnering with East Jefferson High School to provide food pantry items for their 33 unhoused students during summer vacation. Many students share that their only meals during the week come from free breakfasts and lunches provided by the school and summertime is when these students are their hungriest. To ensure we cover all the needed items, we are encouraging folks to bring items according to Sunday School classes and small groups, however all are welcome to contribute any of these shelf-stable foods. Please bring your donations now through Monday, May 13 to Frampton Fellowship Hall.

PHILIPPIANS AND GALATIANS
March 24 - May 19 | Phifer Library
The letters to the Philippian and Galatian congregations illustrate the passion and intensity of Paul's writing. Together these letters provide a compelling portrait of a theologian and social critic of rare power and insight whose legacy continues today to spark heated debate. For the April 28 class recording, click here.
The May 5 class topic will be "Table Fellowship at Antioch" led by Robert Edgecombe
For the recording of the final "Called as Partners in Christ's Spirit" class last Sunday, click here.

PSL Workdays: Friday-Saturday, May 10-11
Two and a half years ago, Hurricane Ida battered the tribal community of Pointe au Chien, Louisiana. Now that community has invited us to join with them in rebuilding their badly damaged homes. The Presbytery is partnering with the Pointe au Chien Indian Tribe. Members of this tribe have been steadfast in rebuilding their community, while also helping our Presbytery learn more about their history and culture in the Bayou region. The Pointe au Chien Indian Tribe is located 35 minutes south of Houma. The construction of the homes requires building resources, volunteers to build the homes, and project managers using resilient practices to guide the work. A willingness to work hard and to learn sustainable building techniques are all that are needed! For details, click here.
