Unity World Day of Prayer
Wednesday, September 9th and Thursday, September 10th
From Fear to Faith
  • In lieu our usual in-person vigil or a Zoom vigil, Unity Santa Fe Prayer Chaplains have contributed inspirational writings and affirmations that will be sent via email every hour between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10. These messages and affirmations can be read throughout the day at your convenience and will also be a nice keepsake to refer to at other times for spiritual inspiration. If you are not on the Unity Santa Fe email list, please contact communications@unitysantafe.org.
  • The Unity website,  https://www.unity.org/wdop will hold World Day of Prayer activities beginning with the Opening Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, and continuing with activities throughout the day on Thursday, September 10. This website is an excellent resource for prayer and reflection.
  • Visit the beautiful Unity Santa Fe labyrinth for a meaningful outdoor experience. labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. The Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world.

2020 Census deadline moved up to September 30. If you haven't already responded, please do so as soon as possible.
You can respond to the Census online  - here's the link
Or, if you prefer to respond by phone, you can call 844-330-2020 for English or 844-468-2020 for Spanish between 9 a.m. MT and 4 p.m. MT. You can find a list of phone numbers for options to respond in other languages here.
You can also respond by following these directions to mail in the paper questionnaire that was sent to you.
The stakes are too high to allow an inaccurate count. The Census is mandated by the Constitution every ten years. It helps determine how much representation we have in Congress and sets federal funding levels that affect schools, roads, and hospitals.
For New Mexico, an incomplete count could reduce tens of millions of dollars in critical federal funding in our state's budget.
