Thompson Thrift held their groundbreaking ceremony for their industrial development located between Signal Butte and Meridian roads, on the south side of Germann road on February 21 at 10 a.m. despite the rain and mud. The Germann Commerce Center will bring 12 light industrial buildings with over 1 million total square feet, the largest scale of speculative industrial space to be built in the Town’s history. This project will bring the much needed industrial space for employment uses, which have been long planned for the Town’s Northern Tier. Footprints for each building range from 61,300 to 109,500 square feet.
