AWARD RECOGNITION

The Town was recognized by the Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry as the 2024 Best City for Business for its work to attract businesses, which has fueled growth in the region.

From new restaurants and retail, to commercial and industrial, the Town strives to remain business friendly while balancing quality of life.

Congratulations to LG Energy Solution in Queen Creek for being recognized as a Manufacturing Project of the Year and a Clean Tech Project of the Year by Area Development! Arizona was also recognized with a Gold Shovel Award due in large part to LG Energy Solution's investment.

These awards celebrate local economic booms, recognizing areas with outstanding growth and activity.

The Town's Economic Development Director, Doreen Cott, was awarded the Economic Development Distinguished by Excellence (EDDE) award for Economic Developer of the Year - Medium Community. This award highlights Doreen's hard work and significant contributions to economic development. The EDDE Awards honor the best economic development practices for individuals, organizations, and companies that have significantly contributed to the advancement of economic growth in the state.

The Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) is working in partnership with the Town of Queen Creek to gather input about how people travel to and within Queen Creek, and sentiment about mobility options. Multimodal mobility options include the integrated use of several different forms of transportation, particularly when residents opt for alternative ways of commuting and traveling.
