QUEEN CREEK RANKS #1 IN ARIZONA

Queen Creek has been ranked the #1 Best Place to Live in Arizona according to U.S. News & World Report!

We’re proud to be recognized for our strong job market, high quality of life, and overall desirability.

SWITCHYARD BREAKS GROUND

This $120M mixed-use development project located in the heart of Queen Creek broke ground on May 7.

The project will include approximately 54,000 square feet of non-residential development and a total of 215 luxury multi-family units.

Fan-favorite tenants confirmed include: Postino WineCafe, Shake Shack and Snooze.

SWITCHYARD CONSTRUCTION & LIBRARY ACCESS

Construction is set to begin Thursday, July 3 on the Switchyard, located on the northeast corner of Ellsworth Loop and Ocotillo Roads, which was formerly Town-owned land. The first phase of construction will continue through February 2026 and is expected to impact surrounding businesses and access in the area.

Notable impacts during this phase of construction include:

  • No access to the Library from Ellsworth Loop (access from Victoria Lane, Ocotillo Road and Ellsworth Road)
  • Temporary relocation of ADA-accessible parking at the Library to the north side of the Library
  • Elimination of the drive-thru book drop at the Library (a walk-up book drop will be available on the south side of the Library)

Access from Ellsworth Road will remain open throughout construction.

STEAKHOUSE SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

In response to frequent feedback from Queen Creek residents, who have expressed a desire for a quality sit-down steakhouse, we launched a social media campaign to create excitement about the need for a steakhouse in Queen Creek.

The campaign ran on LinkedIn and Facebook during Economic Development Week, May 12-16.

With Queen Creek’s strong demographics and continued growth, we recognize a "Rare Opportunity" for a steakhouse in the town. Residents are currently spending over $63 million on dining at restaurants outside of Queen Creek. This highlights a significant unmet demand for full-service restaurants, including steakhouses, within the community. The campaign will focus on reaching key developers and brokers representing restaurants.

Top 5 visited steakhouse brands for QC residents are:

1) Texas Roadhouse

2) The Keg Steakhouse & Bar

3) Outback Steakhouse

4) Bourbon & Bones Chophouse

5) Longhorn Steakhouse
