QUEEN CREEK SEEKS DEVELOPER Queen Creek is a growing, vibrant community with a new development opportunity now available to help define the Town’s Downtown Core with the release of a request for proposal (RFPs) for Town-owned land. RFP No. 22-029 includes six sites totaling approximately 6.8 acres located along Ellsworth Loop Road between Ocotillo and Victoria, adjacent to the Library and Communiversity. The development should include mixed-uses that are geared towards pedestrian-oriented development that further the vision for the Downtown Core. Learn More

ADVANCED MANUFACTURING - LG ENERGY SOLUTION We look forward to working with LG Energy Solution on bringing a safe, clean-energy facility to the region, providing substantial jobs and capital investment.  This is the first advanced manufacturing project in Queen Creek, which is a target sector for the town, the region and the U.S. Not only will it bring high-paying, high-tech jobs, it will become the Town’s largest employer, more than quadrupling the jobs offered by the next largest employer. The robust increase in quality jobs will reduce commute times for residents and those in the region. The major industry will create a ripple effect, with additional investments of major employers, further diversifying the economy.  Learn More

TWO NEW MEMBERS APPOINTED TO QUEEN CREEK ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION The Economic Development Commission is pleased to welcome two new commission members. Nate Knight, ProSmart Realty-Queen Creek and Aric Bopp, Arizona State University were recently appointed. The Economic Development Commission assists staff on updating and revising the Queen Creek Strategic Plan for Economic Development. Commission members are appointed by the Town Council to help define an updated vision for the Town and develop a series of new strategies and action items. More Information

The Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA) in partnership with the State of Arizona launched Locate48 to award grants up to $20,000 to support small business owners that have relocated or expanded in Arizona between March 2021 & March 2022.  Application Deadline May 13, 2022.
