A Collect for Pride Month:
O God, you created us in your image and blessed us with the capacity to love: accept the prayers of your people, teach us to fully and radically love all your children as their true and whole selves, and lead us with courage to continually advocate for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions, just as your Holy Spirit advocates for us; in the name of Jesus, your Beloved, we pray. Amen.
--The Rev. Matt Welsch, Trinity (Wall Street) Episcopal Church

Happy Pride Month from the Queer in Christ ministry of Saint Mark's Cathedral! In this special newsletter, we share a number of Pride-related opportunities at Saint Mark's and with the Diocese of Olympia. You are invited to read this newsletter and join us where and when you can! There is also an exciting opportunity below to order a Pride T-shirt in preparation for the Pride Fest and Pride Parade events. See below for more information! | |
Order your Pride T-shirt before Sunday, June 9!
We are ordering shirts with the new Episcopal Church pride logo for Pride month! The of shirt (as seen in the above photo) will have the new logo on the front. And the back of the shirt will say "God loves you. No exceptions. The Episcopal Church in Western Washington."
There are funds available to offset the cost of the shirts, but the base cost for each t-shirt (with tax and shipping) is $20. The final cost, once all orders are received, should be less than $20 per shirt.
If you would like to order one or more of these shirts, please place your order before end of day Sunday, June 9, using this order form.

Saint Mark’s Cathedral acknowledges that we gather on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People, who are still here, and we honor with gratitude the land itself and the life of all the Coast Salish tribes. [Learn more]
