Eastern North Dakota Synod is pleased to welcome Marna Arlien to the synod staff team as Office Administrator. 

Marna Arlien is an Administrative and Communications professional specializing in community outreach, volunteer mobilization, and marketing strategy. Originally from McVille, ND, she spent 30 years in Houston, TX with her husband and 4 children. With a rich background in church leadership, Marna served for over ten years as the Director of Connecting Ministries and Communications for Lord of Life Lutheran Church, where she championed community relations and volunteer recruitment. Alongside her corporate administration and recruitment expertise, she has lent her leadership to numerous non-profit boards, including the National Charity League and local preschool and school organizations. She holds a BFA in Radio/Television/Film. 

Marna will be your key contact for many aspects of synod ministry, including maintaining our public office hours (now adjusted to Monday through Thursday, 9am to 4pm), scheduling appointments with the bishop, connecting with synod council, and administrative responsibilities for smooth and efficient synod office operations. Marna will be equipped to assist you in connecting with the right person on the staff team and looks forward to connecting with you. Please join us in welcoming Marna to the team.
