Sermon Focus this Coming Sunday:
A New Understanding
John 3:1-8

John 3:1-8 may be a rather familiar text for many. The verbiage of this text has been used on bumper stickers and at football games. The verbiage of this text has been used to tear down and build up. It feels as if we know all there is to know about this text. So how can anything be new to us this day? I wonder if this text is not calling us to figure out how to be born again, but to acknowledge that there is Someone willing to bear us once more?

Pastor Jim Chandler Retires

We are sad that we are not able to send Pastor Jim off in any kind of grand fashion due to COVID, but we want to let you know that he and Donna will be in the area for a while before they make the move to Austin. If you would like to send a card or note of thanks, please feel free to send to the church and we will see that he gets them! We wish Jim and Donna well and thank Jim for his special brand of kindness and loyal service at KUMC.

A Texas Sized Thank You!
Dear Keller Church Family,

Donna and I are deeply touched by all of the expressions of love and well wishes from so many of you as I begin my second retirement. Being a part of Keller UMC has been such a blessing to both Donna and myself. We just fell in love with all of you four years ago and for the past three and a half years I have been blessed to be one of your pastors serving along side a wonderful staff and lay leadership. Keller Church, you will always have a warm place in our hearts. We are building a house just south of Austin and will possibly move there in May.

Celebrate the Babies of 2020!

Babies! We know that babies join families many different ways. If you welcomed a new baby/child into your home in 2020, we want to celebrate with you and reaffirm how much these children mean to our church family! In worship on Sunday, January 24, we will share a montage of all of the babies, as we celebrate and pray a blessing over all the families that have welcomed new babies/children this past year.
Click here to register by January 21 to participate.
UMW Reading Express
Book Discussion

This group meets the third Friday of each month (September-May) at 10am. January 15 they will discuss Rosemary: The Hidden Kennedy Daughter, by Kate Clifford Larson. The book is well researched regarding Joe and Rose Kennedy, their wealth, the era of Rosemary's birth, coming of age and later years and how mental and intellectual disabilities were regarded by the medical community and society in general. We hope to  have very thoughtful discussions regarding the events then and how they might have been different now. Email Imma Jeanne Alexander for group access.
