New Study Begins
February 24

The 11am Monday Women's Bible Study will begin The Prayers of Jesus led by Ellie Friesen. Prayer was the backbone of Jesus' life and ministry. From His baptism to His crucifixion, the Gospels portray Jesus as a man of prayer who knew and deeply valued intimate communion with His heavenly Father. What can we learn from the prayers He prayed?  Click here to purchase a book  by February 13.
New Serving Opportunity

At 9:30am and 11am worship, we normally schedule six ushers to serve. Soon, we will add two additional ushers for these times assigned to  Offering Only. This is a great opportunity to ease into serving in worship. If you're interested in this or other  service opportunities, contact Kim Kuhlman.
Children's Ministries
Lego My Eggo

Sunday, February 165-6:30pm,  3rd and 4th grade students, join us for waffles for dinner, followed by Lego and waffle themed games, good times and laughter with your friends!
Bring a box of pancake mix or syrup for the KUMC Resource Center and your Bible.
Have you ever said the phrase, "make yourself at home?" Have you ever had anyone take you up on that offer? Did they eat from your fridge? Did they kick you out of your room and sleep there? Hospitality is more than opening our homes, it is about addressing the difference of power between the host and guest. How are Christians to address the hostility within hospitality?

Grief & Sprituality

February 10 and 19, 4:30-5:30pm in DAC 417, those facing loss of any kind will discover steps that lead to a way forward. We can live life again. Loss of a loved one is not the end of us. Those facing loss will learn how to listen to "their inner self." Learn "user friendly" steps through the grief process. Facilitated by Pastor Jim and Eldon Reynolds. RSVP to  Victoria Wilson so we will know you are joining us! (Walk ins are also welcome!)
KUMC Online Directory

It's been about 10 years since Keller UMC had a paper pictorial directory. Great news! We are now able to offer a directory that never goes out of date and that is accessible via the smart phone that you're probably already carrying around. ShelbyNext is our church management software. After signing up and downloading the app, you will be able to see names, family relationships, photographs, phone numbers, and addresses for all others who have also signed up for the directory.
Food Drive

Through February 23, pick up a Resource Center shopping list that includes items needed at the  Resource Center. Shop for the needed items and return them to the designated tables at the front of the Sanctuary. Donated items will be sorted and moved to the Resource Center during Mission 1025 on February 23. Contact  Cathy Dill for more information.
Looking to Get Connected?

We invite you to Connection Point! This is a time for visitors, new members, and those who have been a part of the church family for a while to come learn more about KUMC, the United Methodist Church and opportunities for next steps here in our faith community. Join us Sunday February 16, at 9:30 or 11am in DAC 413. Contact Pastor Lauren with questions.

How Do My Eyeglasses Get to Belize?

You may have noticed the collection bins in the church or at local businesses to collect glasses and sunglasses. When your prescription changes or you just want a style change, you go to the optical shop and choose a new pair. It seems a shame to just throw away a pair in good condition that could benefit someone who cannot afford them. Click for more!
Creation Care

How did you do on your carbon footprint survey? Don't panic. As an African proverb says, "Many little people, in many little places, taking many little steps, can change the face of the world." Click here for the full article!
