Giving Statements

At more than halfway through the year, it's a good time to review your giving statement. If you are part of our online directory, you can check this anytime using these instructions. If you would like to join the online directory, click here.
Our staff is happy to assist. If you prefer not to be part of the online directory and would like a statement sent to you via email or the post office, call Dan Reid at 817-431-1332 (leave a message that he can pick up working from home) or email him. Dan can also assist if you find an error or have a question. Thank you for giving faithfully as you are able during these trying times.
Congregational Care
Please notify your church family at 817-431-1332 if you or a loved one are hospitalized, or if there has been a birth, death or wedding in your family. If you are in need of pastoral care, let us know as well and a minister will respond.

Did You Miss Out on Virtual VBS Last Week?

Not to worry! We have reopened registration and are offering a second chance to participate. Everything is online through a private Facebook group for you to do it at your own pace. Do the whole week in a day or spread it all out over several weeks!

Each day features a series of videos that lead you through the daily Bible story and theme through crafts, music, science and snack.
Registration is open through July 29 and packets will be available on Friday, July 31. The packets include most of what you need for the week and are $5/child. Each child will need their own packet. A few additional supplies, most of which you probably already have at home, are also needed.
Children's Resources

We have created a Keller UMC Kids Ministry Facebook page to share announcements, spiritual formation resources, group chat opportunities and whatever else we can create to help us through the days ahead.

No Facebook, no problem! Resources are available on the COVID Accommodations Page of our website. Click here for resources, tools and activities!
"Come On God, I Am Just One Person!"
Take in the two verses in Philippians 3:12-13 before Sunday. It is so important for all of us to stay focused and remember who and whose we are. Just as Christ grabbed hold of Saint Paul, Christ is seeking to touch us. Yes, we are just one person, but with Christ the possibilities will blow your little socks off.

Spiritual Direction Ministry
KUMC is excited to offer a new ministry to our congregation - Spiritual Direction.  Spiritual direction is an intentional time to reflect and deepen your relationship with God while taking a look at what is going on in your everyday life with someone who is trained to listen deeply and to help you recognize the work of the Holy Spirit.  This video answers common questions, but for more information or to make an appointment, email Tonya Minton Maxon, or call or text 817-601-8873.  Meeting can be held via FaceTime or Zoom.

Do You Need Help with Technology?
Last week we sent out a survey to some of our adults to see if technology assistance was needed. For those of you who participated in this survey, we thank you so much! Do you or someone you know need help with staying connected to our church through technology during this time? Your church family is ready to help you with all of your technological needs. If you need assistance, or are willing to offer assistance to someone, please contact Pastor Lauren.
Important Health Concerns
During the Pandemic
Your Faith Community Nurses want to create an awareness for adults of any age about two important health care concerns that have been recognized during this pandemic. The first concern is that people experiencing symptoms that could represent a true emergency are not seeking the help they need in a timely manner. The second concern raised is that gravely ill persons are arriving in emergency rooms without advance directives to assist medical personnel in providing care that meets their needs and wishes. Click here for helpful information that may benefit you or a loved one.

Youth Ministries  (7th-12th Grade)
7-Up Welcome Weekend

We are excited to welcome our 7th graders to the Youth Program in style! How will we do it?! During the week of August 9-15, upperclassmen will deliver small gifts and welcome signs to each new student. They will also leave personal invitations asking students to participate in youth events and activities. You must register your child for this event. However, we want it to be a surprise so try to keep it a secret! The youth member designated as your child's welcome buddy will connect with you about the best time to deliver the surprise. Please, provide the phone number at which it is easiest to reach you. Contact Abigail Herrington if you have any questions.  7th grade parents and guardians registration open through August 7!
