When will the 2019-20 State Budget Bill officially be presented to the Governor for his action?

SB 2500, Florida's FY 2019-20 $91.1 billion budget bill that the Florida Legislature passed on May 4, is projected to be presented to Governor DeSantis when he returns from Israel at the end of this week.  Once SB 2500 is officially presented to him, he has a 15-day deadline to respond with any vetoes.  We'll notify you when this official action occurs.

What is proposed in the budget bill to fund DOS DCA matching grants?

Here are the proposed $21,250,028 appropriations in SB 2500 to fund the Florida Department of State (DOS) Division of Cultural Affairs (DCA) 2019-20 matching grants:

● $2,980,028 to fully fund all 132 Culture Builds Florida Matching Grants

● $12,300,000 for Cultural and Museum Matching Grants (would provide approximately 29% of each of the 478 recommended grant amounts)

● $5,970,000 for Cultural Facilities Matching Grants (would fund first 18 on ranked list and partially fund #19)

What will the 2019-20 DCA matching grants based in your county be if Governor DeSantis approves the recommendations above?
