COMMUNITY CONNECTION
Connecting to create a safer, healthier, stronger community for all.

Washington summers are among the most beautiful in the country. The warm sun beaming through the trees. The cool breeze bouncing off the Pacific Ocean. With all that beauty, it's important to remember the seasonal risks it brings too.

RENTON IS ZERO TOLERANCE ON FIREWORKS

Renton voters banned fireworks within city limits in 2005. Since, Fire and Police throughout the city have worked to heed the call of the community and enforce the ban. This year, Renton RFA and Renton Police will be teaming up to patrol with a zero tolerance stance on fireworks.

If found with fireworks inside Renton city limits, violators will be asked to surrender them. If fireworks are not readily surrendered, they will be confiscated and fines and/or penalties will be issued by the Police Department.

The safety of the community is our highest priority. Please leave the explosives to the pros and join us, and the local community, at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park for the 16th Annual Fabulous 4th of July Celebration.
