Restoring Humanity - Ed's Story
from Sharon N., DRC Case Manager

Ed, with whom I've been working for a bit, finally received the keys to his new apartment recently.

Afterwards in the parking lot, he turned to me with tears in his eyes and said, "This is an indescribable feeling.”

I smiled and said, “Try to describe it.”

He replied, “I feel human again.”

Small moments to most of us, but huge moments to the people we serve, make me feel so blessed to be a part of DRC and help create such fundamental changes in the lives of my fellow humans. Thank you for your support that makes human moments happen!
2018 Annual Report
DRC's 2018 Annual Report is in. We invite you to read all about the success you made possible!

MedStar Clay Shoot
Each year, the MedStar Foundation chooses a local nonprofit making an impact to be the beneficiary of their annual fundraiser. This year, they've chosen the DRC! And they've decided to do a clay shoot on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

All the Action!
A New Home for Imani
What an amazing day! Imani and her children now sleep in their own beds, eat at their own table, and cook in their own kitchen, thanks to the students from  Congregation Ahavath Sholom , Rabbi Andrew Bloom, and school coordinator Rivka Marco. The students collected funds from the congregation to purchase everything this family needed.

If your group is interested in "adopting" a family or individual to truly make a house a home, visit our website to see a list of common items, and contact Liesl Manone at 817-575-7948 or lmanone@drc-solutions.org to get started.
A New Van for DRC
We are so excited about our new van, purchased with funds from a grant the DRC receive through the Victims of Crime Act. By the terms of the grant, the van will allow us to transport people being served by DRC Solutions' Homeless Victims Advocacy program, both children and adults. In time, we'll be able to use the van for all DRC transportation needs.
City-Wide Seder
Our executive director Bruce Frankel was honored to participate in the Fort Worth City-Wide Seder on April 9. Bruce shared with the crowd about the plight of those in our community who are without homes.

Thank you to Congrgation Ahavath Sholom for hosting and inviting the DRC to be a part of this special event.
Office Space Update
Our office space at 1212 E. Lancaster is coming along! We're currently working on finding all the furniture and other items necessary to fully move into the space. Some of the staff, including Bruce, have already begun to work in this bright and airy space.

Watch for your invitation to an open house reception later this spring!

Our mailing address remains: DRC Solutions, PO Box 0871, Fort Worth, TX 76101
Need a Speaker?
If your group is looking for a speaker, we've got you covered!

We're happy to visit with your members and share about homelessness in Tarrant County, the Housing First philosophy, and the efforts of the DRC.

To schedule, contact Liesl Manone at lmanone@drc-solutions.org or 817-575-7948.
