"LICENSE" vs NEW "SUBSCRIPTION" MODEL
Beginning last fall when Intuit released their 2021 Desktop Products, they also introduced subscription "options" that also feature new functions that could be added to the "Subscription" models for an additional fee as well as improved productivity boosts. These subscription models and their pricing is good for one year and are sold as "Plus" products (i.e. Desktop Premier Plus Subscription and Desktop Pro Plus Subscription). While you can still purchase the old "License" method, the one time price has dramatically increased. The subscription models are discounted and must be renewed each year to continue using the product.

While Intuit has created a very confusing pricing structure as they continue to encourage their users to move to a monthly fee platform, I found a link that breaks down the products very well. When you are ready to upgrade to a newer version, we need to carefully assess your needs and review together to make sure you are able to get the product that will most benefit your business needs including payroll subscriptions, merchant services and online linking to banks and credit card accounts as well as cloud platforms and or backup needs. Intuit has implemented limitations and pricing changes that may cover more than you need at the time. If you decide to purchase a new product on your own, be sure that you research carefully before completing your purchase. RIGHT NETWORKS PRICE INCREASE

I recently received notification that Right Networks will increase the monthly fees for their cloud platform effective with the May 2021 billing. The notice indicated that they expect this price increase to be an average increase of 5% to the Right Networks package. Their last price increase was 2019.

For those of you that subscribe through CLN Consulting Associates, LLC, you will be receiving a revised Recurring Payment Agreement to reflect these new prices within the next week. Intuit has also recently revised their pricing structure for payments processed through Intuit Merchant Services platform and the price you will see on your revised agreement will reflect both of these increases. You will have the option of Credit Card or EFT payments.
