World Autism Day is April 2
Not only is April 2 Election Day this year, but it is also World Autism Awareness Day. Autism, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and communication. According to the Centers for Disease Control, autism affects an estimated 1 in 59 children in the United States today with boys four times more likely to be diagnosed than girls.

We encourage you to wear BLUE or their signature puzzle piece symbol as we honor our friends and colleagues with autism and start the conversation about all our unique abilities.
