Nixa High School Honored
|
For the third year in a row, Nixa High School has been designated as a "5-Star Leadership School" from the Missouri State High School Activities Association, which is one of the highest honors a school can receive from the state association. Nixa is one of 20 schools in the state to receive this honor, and one of only a handful of schools to receive this honor for three consecutive years.
We are so proud of the student athletes, coaches, and parents that have helped Nixa High School receive this great honor.

Join The Legislative Corps
|
Have you ever found yourself talking back to the television screen? Muttering to the editorial page of your newspaper? Yelling at a member of Congress on talk radio? These folks just don't get it, you may be saying. Who's advising them? Often it's just their own memories of what school was like for them.
Want to change that? Join the Nixa Legislative Corps by sending an e-mail with your name and e-mail address to Superintendent Stephen Kleinsmith, Nixa Public Schools legislativecorps@nixaschools.net
Membership is voluntary and free. Via a direct, personal e-mail, you get a succinct summary of State and Federal Legislation effecting public education, especially the Nixa Public Schools. In exchange, you're asked to respond to occasional alerts, so YOU can be the one to tell YOUR own House and Senate members through quick and personally-tailored e-mails, how their vote would help or hurt public education, especially thet Nixa Public Schools. Through some hard work on our part the Nixa Legislative Corps will become a recognized voice to those elected to serve.
How to join: To become a member of the Nixa Legislative Corps if you are willing supporter of the Nixa Public Schools, send your name and e-mail address to Dr. Kleinsmith at legislativecorps@nixaschools.net. Although you do not have to be a member of the Nixa community, we do hope your passion to help us is evident by the work you do on the Corps. Join the Nixa Legislative Corps today and get the facts you need to help you make a difference for the 900,000 Missouri public school children and 6000 Nixa Public School children (PK-12.)
