Missionary Visit This Weekend

Cheryl Kruckemeyer, missionary to Tanzania, is coming to visit Redeemer and making a presentation at 9:30 am in the Adult Bible class on April 19th.

What began as a simple desire to glorify Him through service became a two-year mission at Mwadui Lutheran Secondary School, where He used English and life-skills training to shape young leaders with confidence, character, and deepening faith. He provided the vision and resources to construct a regulation basketball court—now a place of mentorship, unity, and spiritual growth. At the same time, He expanded the work into Wizunza Village, transforming worship under a baobab tree into the vibrant Tree of Life Lutheran Church, a fully equipped sanctuary now welcoming hundreds to gather, worship, and grow in Christ.

When the initial assignment concluded in 2022, God made it clear His work was not finished. Through Bishop Nzelu’s call to help build a hospital in Shinyanga, He opened the door to a new chapter with the formation of STHKP Inc. Now in its sixth year, the ministry is moving where He leads—toward strengthening healthcare for a region in great need. In 2026, we trust God to establish a specialty care hospital in Shinyanga, equipped with advanced medical technology and staffed by highly qualified professionals. The same Lord who built classrooms, courts, and churches is now laying the foundation for healing—body and soul—and we move forward confident that He will accomplish all He has purposed.

RightNow Media Series

RightNow Media is a wonderful resource available to our members offering a wide range of topics. Every month we plan to suggest a video series and provide a guide for individual learning and reflection.

For April we are recommending Cold-Case Christianity by J Warner Wallace for your learning and reflection.

External evidence can strengthen both our faith and our witness. While Scripture remains our ultimate authority, logic, geography, archaeology, and the remarkable growth of the early church all support the truth of God’s Word. As 1 Peter 3:15 reminds us, we are to be ready to give a reason for the hope we have in Christ. By seeing our faith in light of historical reality, we can recognize it as both God’s gift and a thoughtful response to the well-attested resurrection of Jesus.

These eight short videos, averaging 11 minutes each, offer a brief introduction to ways we can defend our faith.

If you do not yet have a RightNowMedia account, see Jeff Shoumaker to be linked with Redeemer’s subscription.
