Autism On the Go's

Quirk Alert - Vol XV

*Fall Edition*

🍂 Fall Into Community with AOG 🍂

As the leaves turn and the air grows crisp, we want to thank all of you for showing us what it really means to have a community led by and for Autistics but available for all. Our paid members make sure Autism On the Go (AOG) stays financially strong. Because of you, we’re already halfway to our goal of raising $3,000 by the end of the year!

Your support makes possible the awesome and valuable work we do:

  • 🗣️ AOG Community Town Halls led by Autistic voices—this month featuring a conversation on Autism and Employment Register here »
  • 🌐 Always-popular virtual groups and spaces that connect us across distance Check it out »
  • 🎉 Our very first by-us, for-us Virtual Conference—a space where people with disabilities lead the way and everyone is welcome Learn more »

Now we need your help to get to the finish line. Please consider becoming a paid member today—or share with friends, family, and allies who may want to join. Every membership strengthens our community and proves what’s possible when Autistics do it our way.

Our next Quarterly Members Only Meeting is October 27th. Join our paid member program by that date for an exclusive chance to speak directly with AOG's board.

✨ New this season: We’re launching a Donated Membership Program for those who cannot afford the cost. Want to donate a membership—or apply for one yourself? Email us at info@autismonthego.org to learn more.

Autistic Leaders Program

🌟Calling All Autistic Leaders and Supporters🌟

Join the Autistic Leaders Program!

Autism On The Go is proud to announce the Autistic Leaders Program, designed by and for Autistic people. This is more than just a program—it's a movement to empower Autistic adults to step into leadership roles, strengthen our community, and create meaningful change.

We know that Autistics thrive when systems are designed to fit us, not the other way around. That's why this program is built on neurosensitive, non-punitive, and inclusive principles.

Program Highlights:

✅ Skill-building & personal growth

✅ Leadership opportunities across AOG’s programs

✅ Mentorship & peer support

✅ Space to design and lead your own community projects

✅ Continuous feedback and participant-driven evolution

Whether you want to step into leadership, share your lived experience, or help shape a more inclusive future for our community — we want you involved!

🌱 Why?

Autistics are too often left out of leadership and growth opportunities. We're changing that—together.

This isn’t just a program — it’s a chance to show the world what’s possible when we stop forcing people to fit roles that weren’t made for us.

We know neurodivergent people thrive when we can design jobs that fit our strengths. That’s why this program is built on flexibility, creativity, and fairness.

Program Highlights

✅ Build your own role from the ground up

✅ Set clear, achievable goals with AOG’s support

✅ Gain tools, branding, and mentorship as you go

✅ Earn a paid contract when you meet your goal
