Issue 23
Dear Fisher Families,

We are so grateful to have welcomed approximately 200 sixth grade students on campus these last two weeks. We have been able to welcome them to our Fisher campus for their very first time. Thank you to our teachers and staff who made all this possible and safe! We hope we can add our 7th and 8th graders soon!

Regarding semester report cards, we realize we are long overdue in providing these to you all. Because we changed our schedule in October, PowerSchool is working to catch up. Fortunately, your child’s grades are always accessible to you via PowerSchool and we will continue to resolve the issue so that we can send our report cards as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience!

Thank you all for your continued support and cooperation. I hope each of you enjoys our Winter Vacation.

Take care and stay well.

Mary Lonhart
Travel Advisory

For everyone’s safety, if your child travelled outside of Santa Clara County, greater than 150 miles from the county border, please keep your child at home for the required 10 days after their return date.

In order to ensure that everyone understands this policy, we are asking for Roomer Parents to complete the form below and have your child bring the completed document to Fisher upon return to school after the break.

Our goal is to keep our students and staff safe. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
Grab-n-Go Lunches

As your child leaves campus each day, they are welcome to grab a lunch to go, at no cost. These lunches are near the gate where they entered campus.

  • Grab-n-Go lunches will be available for all students at each campus exit gate Monday-Friday 10:55-11:15. The tables are marked by menu item and students can grab a breakfast snack/lunch to eat at home. These meals are complementary for all students.
  • Complementary meals are also available for drive through pick up at Fisher. The hours have changed slightly and will be open from 11:30-1:00 daily Monday-Friday.
  • For any special dietary needs, please contact Lupe Pena directly at lpena@lgusd.org.
  • Menu and meal schedule will be published weekly on Wednesdays so that you may plan ahead.

Hi Fisher Families,

To say this year has been crazy is an understatement. That being said, it was one of the most historic years that we have all lived through, so don't miss out on purchasing this year's yearbook.

This yearbook documents everything your students faced this year, and highlights their grit! It is also the first yearbook in RJF history that is made up of student submissions. It was literally a book made by and for the student body. I promise, this book captures the essence of the 20-21 school year and is something that you and your student will want to look back on in years to come.

The last day to purchase the yearbook is March 1st, so don't miss out!
