Dear Fisher Families,
I hope your February Break was restful and relaxing. It was nice to have the time off as we get ready for the many Spring events at Fisher!
We are looking forward to so many events in March that will be fun, service-filled and preparatory for next year. Please keep a close eye on the Fisher Flyer for all the upcoming details. Here are just a few:
Tuesday, March 8: Fisher Math Information Zoom
6-7pm, 5th Grade Families
7-8pm, 6th and 7th Grade Families
Friday, March 11: Minimum Day and DODGEBALL!!! We are so excited to bring Dodgeball back, even this abridged version.
Thursday, March 17: St. Baldrick’s Day at Fisher. We are proud to share that Fisher students, staff and families have donated over $332,000 to this charitable organization in the last ten years. And 393 students have had their heads shaved in our ten-year commitment to St. Baldrick’s! Thank you to all who have supported this wonderful organization.
Week of March 28: Math Placement Testing Week. 6th and 7th grade students will be taking their math placement test in their math class.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Mary Lonhart

ATTENTION PARENTS OF 8TH GRADERS
|
|
Dear Parents of 8th grade students:
We regret to inform you that Great America alerted us just days ago that they have changed their days of operation. As such, the park is no longer open on Tuesday, May 31st, our planned 8th grade trip. Because of this, we will no longer be hosting an 8th grade excursion, and we will not be trying to find something to replace the adventure park. Rest assured, however, our 8th Grade Celebration on Friday, May 27th will be fabulous in every way and make up for the loss of Great America. Our parents have been planning our Fisher Celebration for months now. Thank you for understanding, and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Clare Vickers at cvickers@lgusd.org.

WINTER TIPS FOR PE STUDENTS
|
|
- Students can keep an extra pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt in their locker to use for PE. These can be any sweats, not just Fisher-logo sweats.
- Students also have the option to purchase PE logo sweats from the department any time of the year. These can be purchased at the beginning of each PE period.
- The grass is wet most days. Bring extra shoes to wear just for PE and avoid having wet feet for the remainder of your school day.
