FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK
Dear Fisher Families,

I hope that Mother’s Day was lovely for each of you and that your children made you feel honored and loved! It was a gorgeous weekend and a great opportunity to reflect on how much moms do for all of us!

With only 16 days left of school, we are in the throes of SBAC test planning and graduation planning. Yearbooks will come out soon as well! It is nice to be working through these traditional milestones and feeling more like “normal school” every day!

Thank you for your continued patience and support. Enjoy this warmer weather!

Take care.

CAASPP TESTING NOTICE
CAASPP TESTING THIS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY

Fisher Middle School will be testing Roomers on Thursday, May 13th and Friday, May 14th from 8:30AM-12:05PM. Snacks will not be provided, so please make sure your student has a good breakfast. Water bottles should be brought to school.

Zoomers who RSVP'd to take the test in person will do so on Thursday, May 13th and Friday, May 14th from 11:15AM-3:00PM. At this point, capacity is full. If you did not RSVP for your Zoomer student to take the test in person, they will not be able to participate.

If you have opted your child out of the test, they are to remain at home on both Thursday and Friday as we will not have anywhere for them to go during the testing process. Please have your child log into their first period class on both days in order for the teacher to take attendance, after which they will release your student to work on homework/work/projects, etc. After-lunch electives are taking place on both Thursday and Friday, so if your child has a 7.1 on Thursday or 8.1 on Friday, they may join us on campus for those classes.

Finally, if you are running late and missed the 8:30AM test start time, we will not allow your child into the testing environment as we cannot have disruptions. Please plan accordingly and remember that you cannot arrive late to the test. Thank you for understanding.

If you have a additional questions about the SBAC testing, please contact Assistant Principal Clare Vickers at cvickers@lgusd.org.
