Hello Fisher Families,
I hope this fifth week of school finds you well. So many things continue to change and shift in our world, and I am grateful for the steadfastness of the Fisher learning community.
As you are aware, Santa Clara County has been in the “red zone” for several days now, prompting conversations around a safe return to school. I can assure you all that this is foremost on our minds as well, and we need to be thoughtful and intentional with our plans. Our Work Groups are all convening today, Wednesday, and will begin discussions around students’ return to campus. Further, the District Office will be sending out additional information by the end of this week. We recognize that this topic is both exciting and challenging. Please know that our goal is student and staff safety and well-being at all times.
In addition to our Work Group meeting today, Fisher will convene its first meeting of the School Advisory Council (SAC). This Council is composed of parents, teachers, administrators, counselors and staff. All the dates and pertinent information about the SAC are posted on our Fisher website. I look forward to our first meeting and getting to know this dedicated group.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Mary Lonhart
Principal
