The 2022 Research & Innovation Week at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) proved to be another pinnacle experience. From April 4-8, 2022, the Division of Research & Innovation welcomed hundreds of guests from corporations, federal and local government, and universities to industry leaders and entrepreneurs. This year's theme, Ready. Set. Connect., delivered on the interactivity and networking as R&I Week showcased undergraduate, graduate, and faculty research projects and scholarly accomplishments.
The week served as the first in-person R&I event since the pandemic. And each day PVAMU participants prominently and proudly displayed how we earned a Carnegie Classification of R2 (Doctoral University; High Research Activity).
This newsletter provides you a glimpse of the impact the week had on guests, industry partners, student and faculty presenters, and the hundreds of visitors who took part in the overall experience. Greater things are on the horizon for PVAMU as an R2 university on a mission to becoming a Texas Emerging Research Institution.
