Full Reopening Planned for June 15th
On June 15, California plans to fully open its economy if two criteria are met:

  1. Equitable vaccine availability: If vaccine supply is sufficient for Californians 16 years or older who wish to be inoculated.
  2. Consistently low burden of disease: Hospitalizations are stable and low, and specifically, hospitalizations among fully vaccinated individuals are low.
Riverside County Pauses Johnson & Johnson Vaccine
Today, April 13, 2021, Riverside County has temporarily placed a “pause’ on the administration of Johnson and Johnson (J&J) vaccines at its clinics, following a recommendation from the CDC due to reports of rare adverse reactions to J&J vaccines.

Riverside County has launched an online survey that seeks input from residents regarding their views about the COVID vaccine. 
The survey takes five minutes to complete, and is available in English and Spanish.

16 and Older Eligible for COVID-19 Vaccination
Vaccines are available to those 16 and older at four county-run clinics.

Help Riverside County get to the state's Yellow Tier. By testing regularly will help find Covid-19 cases and help stop the spread.
Testing sites throughout the Coachella Valley are free, easy and convenient. Testing is open to anyone with no out-of-pocket costs to individuals.
Federal Grant Funding Available to Shuttered Venues
Applications are now being accepted for the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant program, administered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

Eligible applicants include:
  • Live venue operators or promoters
  • Theatrical producers
  • Live performing arts organization operators
  • Relevant museum operators, zoos and aquariums who meet specific criteria
  • Motion picture theater operators
  • Talent representatives
  • Each business entity owned by an eligible entity that also meets the eligibility requirements
Restaurant Rescue Plan

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 includes, among other things, funding of a $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund (the “RRF”). The RRF will provide grants to eligible restaurants to help offset revenue losses.
