We are currently in the Orange Tier (Tier 3) of the state's
California plans to fully open its economy when two criteria are met:

  1. Equitable vaccine availability: If vaccine supply is sufficient for Californians 16 years & older who wish to be inoculated.
  2. Consistently low burden of disease: Hospitalizations are stable and low, and specifically, hospitalizations among fully vaccinated individuals are low.
As Riverside County continues to make strides towards vaccinating residents, health officials continue to urge those who wish to be vaccinated to make an appointment or simply walk in.

Those 16 years & older are eligible to receive the vaccine.
No proof of residency required.

Appointments are encouraged but not required.
Riverside County Health Officials to Reinstate Use of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine at Local Clinics

Johnson & Johnson vaccine has been cleared for distribution. Riverside County will begin administering at all vaccination sites beginning next week.
