When California fully reopens the economy, the state will move beyond the Blueprint for a Safer Economy. Beginning June 15, all sectors listed in the current Blueprint Activities and Business Tiers Chart may return to usual operations (with the limited exceptions noted below for Mega Events) based on the following general public health recommendations:

Live Cabaret Under the Stars was a Hit in Rancho Mirage!
Each Saturday from May 8 - June 5, 2021, Desert Theatricals, in partnership with the City of Rancho Mirage, brought live cabaret to our beautiful Rancho Mirage Amphitheater. Patrons enjoyed live performances, delicious dinner & drinks provided by Acqua California Bistro all under the stars.


All shows sold out quickly so if you were not able to get tickets, we will have all performances on our YouTube channel for your viewing pleasure.

BNP Paribas Open Returns
October 2021

The tournament has announced that the 2021 event will be played in October. Exact tournament dates will be announced soon.
The BNP Paribas Open intends to allow patrons on site for the event and anticipates ticket, suite and hotel packages to be on sale starting June 21. The tournament will enforce all protocols to ensure the safety of players, fans and officials.

The City of Rancho Mirage and Curative No-Cost COVID-19 testing site at the Rancho Mirage Library and Observatory will be in operation until Friday, June 18, 2021 from
8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday-Friday so make your appointment today!

Great Plates Delivered Program Extended Again!
The Great Plates Delivered Program has been extended to July 9, 2021. The program is designed to support adults 65 and older and adults 60-64 who are at high risk from COVID-19, in staying home and staying healthy by delivering three (3) nutritious meals a day, and also provide essential economic stimulus to local Rancho Mirage restaurants.
