Second Dose Vaccines in Riverside County

Those receiving a second COVID-19 vaccine is growing as more second-dose clinics are planned throughout Riverside County. Riverside County officials have conducted various second-dose vaccine clinics and plan for others throughout the region in the coming weeks. The second-dose clinic frequency depends on the supply of vaccines available.

Schools with Approved COVID-19 Prevention Plans
May Return to In-Person Instruction
In accordance with the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) reopening framework and, as Riverside County remains in the state’s purple tier, county schools and districts with approved COVID-19 prevention plans and checklists may reopen for the transitional kindergarten classrooms through sixth grade education.
Desert Sands Unified School District is one of the four Riverside County school districts to received safety plan approvals from the County and State approval is anticipated. Click here for more information.
More youth and adult sports may soon resume in Riverside County

Moderate- and high-contact sports, including soccer, football, baseball, cheer and water polo, may soon resume in Riverside County if the county’s case rate continues to decline. The new guidance also applies to adult recreational sports teams, in addition to youth sports.
