The City of Rancho Mirage is seeking volunteers to serve on City boards and commissions for the one-year term beginning June 1, 2021.

Eisenhower Health will become a public COVID-19 vaccination site when Blue Shield of California takes over as the state's third-party administrator of inoculations this week. The timeline is as follows:

  • Thursday, April 1: Vaccine eligibility expands to Californians ages 50 and older
  • Friday, April 2: Eisenhower Health's vaccination efforts will be open to all eligible groups.
  • Monday, April 5: Eisenhower's clinic will operate five days a week and have expanded hours, including two days that it will run until 6:30 p.m. to accommodate more workers. 
  • Thursday, April 15: Vaccine eligibility expands to Californians 16 and up.

Visit the state's registration and appointment system, My Turn, for appointments. Riverside County residents can still visit the website rivcoph.org/covid-19-vaccine to view available appointment dates and times.

Covid-19 testing helps find cases, which disrupts the spread of Covid-19 and, negative test results helps our average adjusted case rate go down, helping to move us toward the next tier for reopening.

Testing sites throughout the Coachella Valley are free, easy and convenient. Testing is open to anyone with no out-of-pocket costs to individuals. Appointments are required at some of the locations listed below:

The 50th edition of the ANA Inspiration will take place April 1 – 4, 2021 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage.

This special 50th Anniversary edition will go forward without spectators due to Covid-19 related restrictions but fans will be able to watch the ANA Inspiration around the world, including on Golf Channel and Sky Sports, and follow along for enhanced content on social media @ANAinspiration and on the tournament website at ANAinspiration.com.
