Riverside County is currently in the Orange Tier (Tier 3)
Full reopening (to Yellow Tier) when two criteria are met:

  1. Equitable vaccine availability: If vaccine supply is sufficient for Californians 16 years & older who wish to be inoculated.
  2. Consistently low burden of disease: Hospitalizations are stable and low, and specifically, hospitalizations among fully vaccinated individuals are low.
Get Vaccinated!

  • Anyone 16+ is eligible to receive the vaccine.

  • You do not need to be a Riverside County resident to be vaccinated in one of the County clinics.
On May 10, 2021, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration expanded the emergency use authorization for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine to include adolescents 12 through 15 years of age.

Vaccination of individuals younger than 16 will start as soon as the COVID-19 vaccines are approved for them. Check back at rivcoph.org/covid-19-vaccine for status updates.
Warning for seniors citizens & caregivers about vaccination scams

Seniors and their caregivers should never give out financial information to callers, websites or emailers who insist the data is required to schedule a COVID-19 vaccination, Riverside County officials advised this week.

For more information & tips, please visit consumer.ftc.gov.
Keep Getting Tested!

Testing sites throughout the Coachella Valley are free, easy and convenient. Testing is open to anyone with no out-of-pocket costs to individuals.

Regular testing helps find Covid-19 cases and stops the spread.
