Can you talk about your favorite subjects?

Personally, I love the arts. I am an artist and like to draw. I want to pursue a career in the arts. But I also like to read and write as well.

What has your experience been like at Friendship?

This is my third year here. The teachers here provide us with so many opportunities. Ms. Booth, our principal, encouraged us to attend college fairs and other college-related events.
What college do you want to attend?

I have been searching because I want to take a business route and eventually be the CEO of my own business. I have been looking up good schools for that. I want to get an MBA as well, so I’m looking up good graduate schools for after college. Some schools I've been looking at are University of Pennsylvania, University of Virginia, and SUNY Binghamton. I've been looking at more, though.

In ninth grade we had a business class. It was called Build. My teacher said that we might want to get an MBA if we decided to go into business.

I want to be the CEO of a business where the focus is art and artistic abilities - art, acting, dancing, and singing. So we’ll give opportunities to elementary and middle school kids to be involved in the arts.
Do you have a business plan?

Yes. I have talked to my older sister and brother a lot about this because I want it to happen. They suggested that I integrate these programs into elementary and middle schools. It will be a good starting point for kids to experience the arts. Fifth and fourth graders might learn to play the piano, guitar, learn visual art and different styles of dance. It benefits kids, teens, and adults. People around the world love art. Artistic expression is so important as an outlet to express emotions and get your voice heard. I want them to develop a solid foundation in the arts early on.
