Rémy Cointreau Sells Stake in Passoã for $96 Million

French drinks group Rémy Cointreau has ended its relationship with Passoã, selling its shares of the brand to Lucas Bols in a deal worth $96 million. The move has been in the works since a joint venture between Remy and Bols was established in December 2016. Meanwhile, Bols has been in the process of moving Passoã’s production from Rémy's Angers site in France to the Netherlands. Passoã is expected to be bottled in the Netherlands starting January 2021.
