As another week comes to a close, we continue to count our blessings. This week brought us blue sky, sunshine, better air quality and a new crispness in the morning air. I am so happy to be on morning watch and to greet each and every student daily. What a great way to start a work day! As Shasta County enters a new, heightened phase for COVID-19 numbers, we will have a duty to clamp down on our safety procedures here at RAA. The GOOD NEWS is that school will remain OPEN, as long as we maintain COVID-free environment here on our campus. We will stay diligent in our efforts to keep our children and families safe, by strict indoor mask wearing (state mandate), socially distanced outdoor time, minimizing outsiders in our buildings and enhanced disinfecting daily. All of this can make us feel stressed & worried but then we stop and remember this: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus Philippians 4: 6-7 (NKJV). Read it again if needed! Isn't that a wonderful promise to claim in uncertain times? Wishing you a wonderful (long) weekend ahead.
