RACCA APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM CELEBRATES 2026 JOURNEYMAN GRADUATES AT 28TH ANNUAL CEREMONY

Director of Pinellas Technical College Jakub Prokop discusses the significance of the graduate's accomplishments.

The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association, Tampa Bay (RACCA) celebrated their 2026 Journeyman graduates on April 14, 2026. The 28th annual ceremony was held at the Pinellas Technical College (PTC) Clearwater, FL campus.

Guest speaker Director of Pinellas Technical College Jakub Prokop started the evenings events congratulating the graduates and expressing his thoughts that the careers in trades are better positioned than ever for success.

Dr. Gary DeSantis, RACCA Apprenticeship Program Administrator, thanked everyone for helping him transition to the position vacated by Keane Bismarck’s retirement this year. “Things have gone well and we’re well positioned for next year though we’re in need of some instructors to fill in some gaps,” he stated. 2026 FRACCA Conference

Celebrating 25th Anniversary

at the Rosen Center Orlando

The Florida Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (FRACCA) conducted its 2026 Educational Conference at the Rosen Centre in Orlando Florida from April 8th - 12th. Wow, what a celebration of Keeping it Cool in Florida for 25 Years!

FRACCA also launched their first Annual FRACCA Golf Tournament at Eagle Creek and ended with an outstanding 25th Anniversary Dinner Party with Cocktail Hour, Awards, and Entertainment by Felix & Fingers on Dueling Pianos.

The conference had so many great speakers: Ruth

King, Ed Janowiak, Tray Batcher, Robert Cochell

Ross Kelley, and many more.

The Keynote speaker Bryan Dodge, had two great messages: How to Re-Ignite Your Unstoppable Passion, and How to Master the Language of Successful
