Saturday morning we continue the Alamo Beer Series with the Battle of Fredericksburg in COMFORT, TX! This cool front should make for some easy fall running! And make sure to stick around for our celebratory After Party with drinks from Alamo Beer, Hill Country Distillers, and CForce. Yummy food from Kiolbassa Smoked Meats and Natural Grocers. Also joining us will be Newsome Vineyards and Fleet Feet San Antonio.

Packet Pick-up Info!

Friday, September 15th from 4-7p.m. at Alamo Beer Company. If you don't see us set up outside, then we are inside the brewery! The brewery is open so you can stay and enjoy a beer. Show them some LOVE!
Packet pick up is also happening race day starting at 6:30a.m. until race start.
If you registered this week and your shirt size was out of stock, we will reorder shirts after the race. Pick up will be 2 weeks later or at our next race.

PARKING:
There will be parking available at the football field off of Main and 6th, as well as the park on 5th and Broadway. Please DO NOT park on High Street, 7th Street, or 8th Street. And please DO NOT park in front of businesses downtown. Leave those spots available for their customers.

5 Miler @ 8:00am
5K @ 8:10am
Do not attend if you are sick and please wash your hands often. There will be plenty of water stations throughout the course, but we recommend bringing a refillable water bottle to limit contact.

If you do not want to pick up your packet, email [email protected] and request that your packet be mailed to you. It is a $12.00 fee per packet. You can pay this via PayPal to [email protected]
Your virtual packet will include, race medal, t-shirt and bib.

In scenic Comfort, Texas we begin at the Hill Country Distillery; in the center of town. The race starts in their Courtyard which they share with Newsom Vineyards. The owners of all of these downtown businesses will great you as you come in to try out their unique store fronts.

The race takes place on the outskirts of northern San Antonio, just as you begin to approach the Texas Hill Country. The Hills will gently introduce themselves as your elevation begins to rise. Then one large hill to welcome you to your hill training. This race is your chance to check your gear, gauge your heart rate, your stamina, your brain—everything that will help your racing go smoothly. The celebration at Tuscany Venue after your race will invigorate you victorious.

A Celestial Event is making it’s way over Texas! And we are going to RACE IT in Boerne, TX. This Annular Solar Eclipse happens when the moon appears relatively small in the sky so it does not full cover the disc of the Sun. Leaving a RING OF FIRE. The path of this eclipse puts it in perfect alignment with the charming small town of Boerne for ideal viewing of the Eclipse. This is a unique opportunity!
We have a half marathon, 10k, 5k, and 0.5mi fun run for you to enjoy. Of course we will run first then party after like always. Eclipse Style, with our Eclipse viewing glasses on…we plan to have some available.

This race will take place along Leon Creek, which is part of San Antonio’s linear park system. The city’s parks and recreation department has done a great job creating these greenway trails. They’re perfect for staying fit and enjoying the outdoors. They have miles of paved trails, which will give you some sun, shade, long flats and small hills. They have a little bit of everything. | |
