10 Reminders for a Successful Race Weekend | |
1) Bib Pick-Up: By now you should have received an email with information on how to claim your Digital Number Pick-Up Pass. You will bring that pass (either printed or on your mobile device) during Expo hours to receive your official bib number. If you have not received your Pass, please visit the Athlete Services desk at the Expo.
2) Wear Your Bib: Wear your bib on the outermost layer of clothing and make sure it’s clearly visible at all times! REMEMBER: Bib numbers are not transferable nor exchangeable. No one else may wear your bib number.
3) Explore the Expo: After getting your bib number, explore this year's expo featuring sponsor booths and the largest adidas Boston Marathon store in history!

4) Boston Marathon Fan Fest: Stop by Copley Square Park from Friday through Sunday for Boston Marathon Fan Fest presented by Amazon featuring live bands, chats with professional athletes, photo ops, activities, and more! A complete schedule can be found here.
5) Download the B.A.A. Racing App: Download the all-new B.A.A. Racing App powered by TCS! Your biggest fans can track your progress along the course from Hopkinton to Boston.
6) Gear Check & Transportation: On race morning, gear check will be available on Berkeley and Boylston Streets. Only the clear plastic bag provided at bib pick-up will be accepted. Once you've dropped your gear off, head to Charles Street in Boston Common to catch the bus out to Hopkinton. Bus loading is by bib color, and you will not be allowed to load before your designated time. Please arrive at the time indicated on your gear check label, which you'll receive at bib pick up.

7) Athletes' Village & The Start: Upon arriving in Hopkinton, you can use facilities, grab water, and stretch. Race officials will provide directions within Athletes' Village, and announce when it is your turn to depart for the start. It is a .7 mile walk to the start line from Athletes' Village.
8) What's On Course: Poland Spring Water and Lemon Lime Gatorade Endurance Formula stations will be set up at every mile along the course beginning at mile two. Stations will be on both sides of the road. Three Maurten Hydrogel Depots will be located at mile 11.8 on the Wellesley town line; mile 17 in Newton; and at mile 21.5 just after Boston College. Maurten’s Gel 100 (non-caffeinated) and Gel 100 CAF 100 (caffeinated) will be available at all three locations. 26 medical stations will be located along the course staffed with a variety of medical professionals.
9) What's Your Plan?: Prior to starting your race, be sure to make a plan with loved ones on where and when to reunite post-race. The Family Meeting area is located on Stuart Street between Berkeley and Clarendon Streets, and will be labeled by last name.
10) HAVE FUN! We're excited for you to take part in the 127th Boston Marathon, and can't wait to present you the iconic unicorn medal at the finish line!

Join us on Saturday, April 15th from 7-10PM at the Fairmont Copley Plaza for B.A.A. Gives Back presented by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, an evening dedicated to raising support for the B.A.A.’s community initiatives.
David Ortiz, Boston Red Sox legend, three-time World Series Champion, National Baseball Hall of Fame member, and World Series MVP, will receive the Patriots’ Award and Adrianne Haslet, Para Athlete, Inclusion Advocate, and Boston Strong Survivor, will receive The Dick & Rick Hoyt Award.

The 127th Boston Marathon is upon us and with it comes our 11th annual release of 26.2 Brew, the official beer of the Boston Marathon. 26.2 Brew is a gose style beer that’s brewed with sea salt and coriander for a light body and refreshing finish and is the perfect beer for a post-race celebration.
26.2 Brew 4-pk cans will be exclusively available at our Boston Brewery and Downtown Taproom locations starting on Friday 4/14 until supplies last!

To celebrate the beloved tradition of the Boston Marathon, Samuel Adams is hosting private tours for runners* and their families to join us at the Boston Brewery (30 Germania St) for a unique look into how our beer is made. Walk through our brewhouse with one of our guides to learn the history and process behind our beer and then head into the tasting room and enjoy a fresh 26.2 Brew!
In addition, runners who show their bib from this year’s 127th Boston Marathon will receive their own complimentary Marathon pint glass at the Boston Brewery starting Friday 4/14 until supplies last.
We’ll have live music and local food vendors at the Brewery the 14th through the 18th.
*Your $5 Runner Tour ticket will transfer to a $5 off credit in the Shop or on food in the Taproom after your tour. If all the Runner Tours are sold out at the time of booking, you can use the code MARATHON50 for a 50% discount on another tour experience.

Starting Friday 4/14, folks who order a pint of 26.2 Brew will receive it in this year’s special commemorative Marathon pint glass and be able to take it home with them. This is open to everyone so make sure to order a brew quick inside the taproom because once we’re out, we’re out!
We’ll also be celebrating Marathon Monday with the band Brick Park performing in our Beer Hall from 3:30-6:30pm to get the post-race party started and on Marathon Tuesday, running legend Des Linden will be joining us in our Beer Hall at 1pm for a special meet and greet to celebrate her newest book, Choosing To Run: A Memoir!

Mile 27 Post-Race Party Presented by Samuel Adams | |

Celebrate your accomplishment with family, friends, and fellow participants at Fenway Park, America’s most beloved ballpark. The Mile 27 Boston Marathon Post-Race Party will feature live entertainment, a presentation of champions, concessions, and access to the warning track (weather permitting).
Athletes will receive an email with a unique code to purchase a discounted ticket for $5, and the opportunity to purchase additional tickets for friends and family for $15 per person.

In an effort to provide the best medical care during your race experience, the B.A.A. asks you to please complete the following RaceSafe form. The B.A.A. Medical Team utilizes RaceSafe, an encrypted health and safety app, to coordinate medical care for any runners needing assistance.
We request that you please securely share your health information in an effort to assist us in case of emergency. Participation is voluntary, but this information may be lifesaving in a medical emergency.

Having access to information regarding your individual health history (e.g. allergies, recent medications) will allow our medical team to better care for you in the event that you require attention during or after the race. All information is kept confidential in compliance with the Protected Health Information/HIPAA Privacy Rules.
